Research on the Influencing Factors of College Students' Deep Reading Behavior Based on Mobile Terminal: Qualitative Analysis Based on Grounded Theory

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] To explore the influencing factors and action mechanisms of college students' deep reading behavior is to improve college students' deep reading ability and reading effectiveness.[Method/process] After conducting one-to-one in-depth interviews with 28 college students from 4 universities in Chongqing, the grounded theory was applied to conduct substantive coding of the interview content, and the influencing factors based on mobile terminals on college students' deep reading behavior were deeply studied, and the grounded theory framework was explored and constructed.[Result/conclusion] The research shows that reading subject, reading text, reading cognition, terminal technology and reading environment are five main categories that affect college students' deep reading behavior based on mobile terminals, which are dominant, critical, supportive, guaranteed and driving factors respectively. On this basis, the feasible way to improve the deep reading ability of college students is explored.
