[Purpose/Significance] During the outbreak of COVID-19, health misinformation has been seriously rampant, and participating in the governance of health misinformation has become an important means for university libraries to protect the public information needs and provide health information services. [Method/Process] Using the methods of network research and literature research, the research investigated 15 foreign university libraries and summarized the governance measures of foreign university libraries from five aspects of providing health misinformation identification methods, the development of multi-information literacy education, the construction of reliable health information resources, providing the support of epidemic-related research support, and the construction and implementation of epidemic memory archive. [Result/Conclusion] University libraries in China can participate in the governance of health misinformation from three aspects of paying attention to the governance of health misinformation and participating in it, constructing the cooperative governance of health misinformation system and innovating the governance services of health misinformation.
