[Purpose/Significance] Keyword is one of the important entrances to retrieve journal papers, and its labeling quality directly affects the retrieval effect. Standardized and scientific keywords can not only improve the precision ratio of papers, but also reveal the subject contents of papers more accurately. [Method/Process] This paper used immediate constituent analysis in linguistics and analysis methods in statistics, taking the titles of 3636 "Based … on…" papers in library and information science subject in the past five years as data, identifying and labeling the elements of paper titles, and comparing them with the keywords labeled by the authors, to judge the scientific validity of the research contents of the paper reflected by the keywords labeled by the authors. At the same time, the keywords labeled by the author was compared with domain subject headings to judge the standardization of keyword labeling. [Result/Conclusion] Through the comparison and statistical analysis, it is found that, ①37.16% of the paper keywords are inconsistent with the elements of paper titles, which can not accurately describe the research topic contents of the papers; ②96.88% of the paper keywords have different degrees of non-standard labeling. On this basis, this paper puts forward the strategies for the selection of keywords.
