Study on the Influencing Factors of Digital Detox Behaviors Among College Students

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] The development of digital technology has brought social problems such as users' digital addiction and overuse of devices. As an important solution to these social problems, digital detox is starting to gain attention. It is of practical significance to explore the influencing factors of digital detox behavior among college students.[Method/Process] Through semi-structured in-depth interviews, this paper obtained data such as the use of digital devices, reasons, approaches and effect evaluation of digital detox behaviors among college students, and summarized the influencing factors of digital detox behaviors.[Result/Conclusion] This study sorts out the reasons for the dependence of college students on digital devices, finds the influencing factors of individual factors, situational factors and effect evaluation, and reveals their roles in digital detox behaviors.
