Study on the Service Model of Art Reading Promotion in University Libraries Under the Perspective of Receptive Aesthetics——Taking Beijing Normal University Library as an Example

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] To explore the mode and methods of university libraries by providing art reading promotion services to university students based on the art resources in their collections, in the context of the new era when the state attaches great importance to aesthetic education in schools.[Method/Process] Based on the theory of receptive aesthetics, the paper analyzed in detail the progressive service practices of art reading promotion in Beijing Normal University Library in terms of three stages of art reading:anticipatory aesthetic understanding, reflective aesthetic interpretation and creative aesthetic reconstruction, and combined qualitative research methods such as participatory observation and material analysis to analyze the role of art reading promotion activities in enhancing the aesthetic literacy of university students and explore the construction of art reading promotion service model in university libraries.[Result/Conclusion] The study proposes the art reading promotion service model in university libraries, and puts forward the problems that need to be improved in the construction process.
