Metaverse Smart Library Connotation, Technology and Implementation Path

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] This paper studies the innovation and development of smart library services from the perspective of metaverse and brings into play the function of immersive reading experience in smart libraries. [Method/Process] This paper explored the theoretical logic of metaverse applied to libraries, pointed out the real challenges faced by smart libraries, and pointed out the advantages of a metaverse smart library based on touchable reading scenes, resource data guided by digital media, and integration of multiple technologies. It analysed the technical architecture of metadata smart library, the integration way of metadata core technology, built a five-layer structure model of future metadata library, and explored the realization path of metaverse smart library. [Result/Conclusion] Strengthen the research and development of key metaverse technologies to enhance the reading immersion of smart libraries; build three-dimensional metaverse smart library immersion resources to promote user immersion and interaction; expand metaverse library services to enhance the library knowledge service function; strengthen the construction of metaverse smart library infrastructure to provide hardware guarantee for immersion experience; enhance the ability of metaverse smart librarians to improve the quality of immersion services.
