[Purpose/Significance] This article investigates the addition and deletion by Zhang Taiyan in his article Qi-lue-bie-lu-yi-wen-zheng for the lost items in the catelogue Qi-lue-bie-lu, which is included in Yu-han-shanfang-ji-yi-shu compiled by Ma Guohan. The specific items of additions and deletions by Zhang Taiyan are identified. The academic contribution of Qi-lue-bie-lu-yi-wen-zheng is disclosed. [Method/Process] This study redefined the confirmation principle of lost items. Each additions and deletions to Ma's lost items was sorted out. It was the general understanding that “Ma Guohan just compiled 90 lost items, Zhang Taiyan compiled 108 lost items” Our study changes this understanding. By comparison with the gains and lossses of wang Renjun's Yu-han-shan-fang-jiyi-shu-xu-bian and Yao Zhenzong's Kuai-ge-shi-shi-shan-fang-cong-shu, the academic achievements of Zhang Taiyan's Qi-lue-bie-lu-yi-wen-zheng were highlighted. [Result/Conclusion] Zhang Taiyan added 41 lost articles and deleted 18 items in Ma Guohan's Qi-lue-bie-lu with his own efforts for half a year. Zhang's additions and deletions help to restore the original items of Bie-lu and Qi-lue and to re-understand the value of Yao Zhenzong's compilation, which was known as the “best edition”.
