[Purpose/Significance] Farewell poetry is an extremely important genre in ancient poetry. By studying the allusions and cultural imagery involved in farewell poetry, it can provide evidence for the historical and cultural changes of the Tang Dynasty. [Method/Process] Taking the farewell poems in Complete Collection of Tang Poetry as the research object, based on the perspective of knowledge recombination and the use of digital humanistic tools, this study statistically classified the allusions and cultural imageries and analyzed the emotions in the farewell poems with semantics research. [Results/Conclusion] This paper sorts out the allusions and cultural imagery contained in the farewell poetry text, intuitively displays the elements such as allusions and cultural imagery in the farewell poetry in Complete Collection of Tang Poetry, which is beneficial for further exploration and visualization of other knowledge elements in Complete Collection of Tang Poetry.
