[Purpose/Significance] Analyzing the progress and current situation of the digital intelligence transformation in foreign national libraries can provide valuable insights and guidance for the digital intelligence transformation in Chinese libraries. [Method/Process] The paper adopted case study analysis and literature review to systematically examine, analyze, and summarize the digital intelligence transformation progress in five foreign national libraries, focusing on four aspects: strategic planning, characteristic space, thematic resources, and primary services. [Result/Conclusion] Based on research and the current state of Chinese libraries, the paper proposes the following recommendations: ensuring the continuity, specificity and operability of strategic planning; promoting the synergistic coexistence of physical spaces and virtual spaces; emphasizing the overall, comprehensive and distinctive nature of literature resources; strengthening cooperation between libraries and institutions both within and outside the industry.
