[Purpose/Significance] Currently, the rapid development of digital technologies, such as big data and artificial intelligence, is driving accelerated changes in the digital archives ecosystem. It is necessary to strengthen research on the environmental governance of the ecosystem, continuously optimize its ecological environment, and promote modernization of archive governance. [Method/Process] Through literature analysis, theoretical integration, and exploratory innovation, this paper analyzed the composition of environmental factors and governance connotations of the digital archives ecosystem. It then constructed a digital archives ecosystem environmental governance system, and promoted the healthy operation of the digital archives ecosystem. [Result/Conclusion] This paper focuses on the theme of environmental governance of the digital archives ecosystem, takes the legal environment, humanistic environment, and technological environment as the framework structure, systematically explores the paths of environmental governance of the digital archives ecosystem, enhances the governance capacity of the digital archives ecosystem, and promotes the orderly flow of material flow, energy flow, information flow, and value flow between the digital archives ecosystem and the social ecosystem.
