[Purpose/Significance] Red letters are a vital component of “red resources”, possessing unique historical and educational value. The knowledge representation of red letters helps further leverage intelligent technologies to achieve the content reorganization, reconstruction, and digital presentation. [Method/Process] This paper examines the value dissemination of red letters from an ontological perspective, constructing a shared ontology for red letter resources by reusing the LRMoo model. The proposed ontology encompasses the letter’s value as cultural relics, their cultural value, and their textual content, integrating their content, physical carriers, and derivative materials into a cohesive framework. [Result/Conclusion] The knowledge representation model enables systematic management and multi-dimensional use of red letter resources. It provides a new approach to the knowledge organization of “red literature” and offers valuable insights for creating immersive ideological and political education scenarios.
