[Purpose/Significance] This article investigates the strategic planning and development goals of libraries in world-class universities, explores their interdisciplinary integration support services and practical explorations， and proposes development strategies for Chinese university libraries to meet the new development requirements of higher education in promoting interdisciplinary integration. [Method/Process] This article selected the top 10 universities ranked by QS, TIMES, ARWU, and US News to investigate their libraries’ interdisciplinary service strategies and practical models of world-class university libraries, and proposed insights on interdisciplinary services of world-class university libraries, as well as development strategies for university libraries in China. [Result/Conclusion] Facing the “Double First-Class” initiative and the “15th Five-Year Plan” for higher education in China, it proposes development strategies for university libraries in China in terms of interdisciplinary strategic planning, interdisciplinary research support service brands, interdisciplinary talent cultivation service support, and interdisciplinary development evaluation, in order to better serve the interdisciplinary construction, talent cultivation, and academic research of universities, and promote the service transformation for university libraries.
