[Purpose/Significance] Exploring the impact of new quality productive forces on libraries is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of libraries. [Method/Process] Using a method of logical deduction, this paper first examined the connotation of new quality productive forces, the relationship between these forces and libraries, and the transformation of library productivity in the current era. On this basis, it analyzed the framework of library services and management empowered by new quality productive forces, and offered a forward-looking perspective on future pathways. [Result/Conclusion] New quality productivity will transform the content, methods, users, and evaluation of library services, as well as the management of librarians, systems, collection resources, and users. In the future, libraries can promote, guarantee, and lead the high-quality development of libraries from the perspectives of products, institutions, and industries.
