[Purpose/Significance] This article provides an analysis of the book “Intellectual Property Information Services: Theory, Methods, and Practice”, aiming to provide readers with a reference for understanding the theoretical evolution process, current challenges, core academic propositions, and future innovation paths of intellectual property information services, and to provide guidance for optimizing the practice of intellectual property information services and building a strong intellectual property country in China. [Method/Process] Using methods such as summarization and induction, comparative analysis, etc., this review systematically evaluate the work from the aspects of theoretical evolution, research needs, presentation of work value, and future prospects. [Result/Conclusion] This work systematically responds to the theoretical, methodological, and practical needs of intellectual property information services, laying a solid foundation for the development of the industry. Based on this work, further reflection is needed on the future, with universities as the core hub, deepening the deep adaptation of theory and national strategy, promoting the integration and innovation of technology and services, exploring the construction of a diversified and collaborative inclusive service ecosystem, and providing sustained and accurate support for the high-quality development of the industry and the construction of a strong intellectual property country.
