On September 27, 2025, the parallel roundtable seminar on “Top 20 Journals of Hotspot Papers in Think Tank Research and High-Quality Development of Think Tank Journals,” hosted by the Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Association for Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, and organized by the journal Science & Technology for Development, was held in Beijing. Many experts and scholars from the field gathered to discuss the development of think tank journals. At the meeting, the list of the “Top 20 Source Journals of Hotspot Papers in Think Tank Research” was officially released, and Library and Information Service was included.

Library and Information Service was previously selected into the Think Tank Journal Cluster (1.0 Edition) in 2021 and the Think Tank Journal Cluster (2.0 Edition) in 2024. Its inclusion once again reflects the journal’s continuous improvement in academic influence and decision-making support capacity. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors, experts in the field, and friends from all industries for their concern and support.
